New European F-Gas proposal to be discussed at ATMOsphere Europe 2012

Apr. 16, 2012 – The new proposal from the European Commission revising the current F-Gas regulation is planned for October. The ATMOsphere Europe 2012 workshop, taking place from 5-7 November, is thus perfectly timed to gather and provide industry feedback to the European Commission and Parliament regarding the revision. Combining with technical presentations, end user sessions, workshop discussions and more, this 4th edition offers the complete package for everybody interested in natural refrigerants.

Main theme: Natural Refrigerants - Solutions for Europe

Given the main theme, the emphasis will this year be on case studies, experiences, and discussions - meaning solutions - about how the natural refrigerants CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water and air can be viable alternatives to f-gases across Europe.

A main topic of this year's ATMOsphere Europe will therefore be the new F-Gas regulation: the European Commission intends to present a legislative proposal revising the current EU F-Gas Regulation in early October 2012. ATMOsphere Europe 2012 is thus perfectly timed to enable industry to provide feedback to the European Commission and European Parliament on the legislation. This proposal will have a significant influence on the future of natural refrigerants in Europe.
